A neighbour gave us a couple of butternut squash (calabaza) plants in the spring and they have produced a crop of twenty fruits. We normally roast them or make risotto but Valerie loves soup! Personally I am not so fond of thick textured soups but it does look and taste nice. The colours of Autumn
