These Senegalese Soles were on sale in the Mercado de Abastos in Conil. Fished in the golfo de Cádiz using transmalle (Trammel nets). Known most commonly as Lenguado but sometimes Lenguado de Porreo or Lenguado de Rio in Conil. Elsewhere it is referred to as Lenguado Fino or Lenguado Negro. It is similar to the Common Sole but is more closely related to the east Mediterranean Egyptian sole
