These Big Eyed Bream in Cádiz market are another example of a pink Dentex. They are called Cachucos or Cachuchos. I usually bake “Bream” in the oven with potatoes, onion and tomatoes but I think these small fish would work well on the barbecue with a spice based marinade. We have had barbecued Bream before. Manolo, a fisherman friend, grilled them for us and they had become quite dry. The spice crust would suit this drier flesh.
